PTFE Envelope gasket consists of asbestos, non-asbestos, rubber etc. cushion material having exposed surface covered with PTFE envelope. 
Virtually 100% chemically resistant.
Temperature range from -200~500 depending on the core.
Mechanical strength depending on the selection of core.
Pressure ≤ 4Mpa

Application:
Depends on excellent corrosion resistance and compession resilient. It's widely used in strong alkalis,cryogenic fluids,oxygen,chlorine gas and disallowable polluted medium etc. 
V type Slit in centre from outside, an economical solution for lower pressure situations 
U type Cut PTFE into square form, for use under medium and higher pressure
L type Heated & Welded at one joint, Normal for Dn ≥ 200 mm.
